Systemic counseling

From Heart to Heart

The systemic counseling

In general, the systemic approach focuses on relationships, interactions and social systems rather than looking exclusively at the individual. The underlying assumption is that the problem arises and can be solved in the context of the family, the partnership or the social network. The treatment is solution-focused and emphasizes resources (reframing). Genogram work allows us to visually depict family structures and relationship arrangements. Patterns across generations can be made visible. As a client, you formulate a task for me and a goal that you want to achieve in every conversation. Anchoring usually rounds off every conversation and is intended to integrate new action training into everyday life.

01

Coffee & Coaching

The first meeting with Coffee & Coaching is scheduled for 30 minutes and is free of charge for you.

02

Further meetings

Meetings usually last 1 hour, the interval between meetings is usually 2-6 weeks and has proven to be a good way to try out what has been worked out in everyday life. You book every meeting the way you need it!

03

Acute times of crisis

In times of acute crisis, weekly meetings are also useful and feasible.

04

Parents, children and young people

This usually requires three appointments.

In the first meeting, I talk to you as parents alone.

We can invite the children to the second interview if the age of the child makes this possible.

The third interview will again take place with you as parents and me. We will then discuss together what the child has added as his or her share. This then opens up new opportunities for action.

05

Outreach family support

Counseling can of course also take place at your home. Feel free to contact me!

You are the expert

As a client, you are the expert on yourself. As a solution-focused counselor, I will direct your attention to your desired future.

The systemic setting works with hypothetical questions and possible scenarios can be “played through” without pressure. The focus always remains on your resources, the solutions of the future and your strengths! My attitude as a consultant always remains co-constructive and respectful.

Meetings with you as parents serve to strengthen you and we can discuss problems with children without their presence.

Young adults, on the other hand, can organize meetings themselves with confidence. There is also the option of family meetings or individual meetings.

You cannot forge character and courage by paralyzing initiative and independence!
